If you are a homeowner and live in the following areas, you may qualify for assistance through the Call Canton Home program sponsored by the City of Canton this July 18-24. Excitement is building as 400 teenagers from across the nation are raising funds to travel to Canton on a mission trip. The teen volunteers and their adult leaders will be housed at Timken High School and will be painting and doing minor carpentry repairs at 60 pre-selected, owner-occupied homes. There is no cost to the homeowner as these teens are giving of their time and service.
Local nonprofit organization, Hammer & Nails, will be interviewing applicants, selecting and estimating projects along with organizing hundreds of other details that make a project run smoothly and efficiently.
