The Neighborhood Partnership Grant Program was developed in 1997 by the Stark Community Foundation. It continues to operate with partners JP Morgan Chase, the Timken Charitable Trust, and The Repository in response to problems in the area. It is focused on enabling the people of the City of Canton to discover their community and neighborhood capacities. By 2000, the Foundation supported established and emerging neighborhood leaders through a development process, showing them the methods of planning and implementing strategies for neighborhood improvement.
New Neighborhood Grants are for new neighborhoods that have not yet received two grants. Large Neighborhood Grants are for established neighborhoods that have already received at least two smaller New Neighborhood Grants.
You must attend the December Grant Application Workshop provided by the Stark Community Foundation to be eligible to apply for a grant.
