Neighborhood Leadership

The Neighborhood Partnership Grant Program was developed in 1966 by the Stark Community Foundation in response to problems in the area. It was focused on enabling the people of the City of Canton to discover their community and neighborhood capacities. By 2000, the Foundation supported established and emerging neighborhood leaders through a development process, showing them the methods of planning and implementing strategies for neighborhood improvement.
